A fixed price, in writing, after a survey
The quote lists the profile, glass, hardware and VAT for each window. The price is final and includes VAT, and it comes only after an in-person survey. How window quotes work.
Tu Ventana Costa Blanca makes and fits Kömmerling uPVC windows for English-speaking owners in 14 Costa Blanca towns. It does not promise grants or tax relief. A public authority decides who gets a grant, and each call opens and closes on its own dates. The quote shows the final price with VAT included, and Eduardo explains it in English.
Most of the waiting is manufacture
At Tu Ventana Costa Blanca, which makes and fits made-to-measure windows for owners on the Costa Blanca, most of the waiting before fitting is manufacture. The written quote follows the in-person survey. Manufacture takes 3 to 5 weeks from signing, and fitting takes 1 to 2 days. Owners who live abroad plan each stage with Eduardo in English on WhatsApp.
Sun, salt and storms come first
Here windows need solar control glass on sunny façades, hardware that resists salt air and a seal that keeps out autumn storm rain. Triple glazing rarely pays on this coast.
One company, one NIF, no franchise
The Benidorm office is part of TU VENTANA MADRID SL, NIF B06818421, incorporated in 2021. The job is covered by the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity, and each manufacturer guarantees its own part.

Do you speak English?

How do I contact you on WhatsApp?
Send the quote form with your mobile number, including the country code. Eduardo will message you on WhatsApp, and you can send him photos there. You can also call the Benidorm office on +34 865 443 637.
Will the quote be explained in English?
Yes. Eduardo goes through the written quote with you in English, line by line, until every item is clear.
Do I need to be in Spain for any part of the job?
No. Someone has to be at the property for the survey and the fitting, but that can be your key holder. Everything else can be done from home.
Who can hold the keys for me?
Any adult you authorise: family, a neighbour, your property manager, your estate agent or the building’s concierge. We need their name, a direct phone number and the dates they can open.
Can you measure from photos I send?
No. Photos help us prepare the visit, but we always measure in person. Openings here are rarely square, and the state of the old frame only shows on site.
Can I accept the quote from abroad?
Yes. You accept it in writing from wherever you are. The payment terms are written in the quote, so read them before you accept.
What if something needs adjusting after I have gone home?
Tell Eduardo on WhatsApp. Your key holder gives us access, so you do not need to travel. New hardware can need a small adjustment in the first months, especially on large sliding doors.
What does the quote include?
For each window: the profile system, the glass unit, the hardware and, if there is one, the shutter box. It also shows the VAT rate and the final price. How window quotes work explains each line.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes. The price we give is the final price with VAT included. The quote states the VAT rate applied: 21 % by default, and 10 % only when the legal conditions are met.
Are there grants for new windows in the Valencia region?
Grants depend on a public call, and the authority that runs it decides who qualifies. We do not promise a grant or tax relief, and we are not tax advisers. Check any open call, and your own tax position, with a gestor or tax adviser.
Can the price go up after I accept?
No. The price you accept is the price you pay, unless you ask for something extra, which is quoted and agreed separately. If removing an old frame reveals hidden damage, we stop and talk to you before going on.
How long does it take to replace all the windows in an apartment?
It depends mostly on manufacture, because every window is made to measure. Manufacture takes 3 to 5 weeks from signing, and fitting usually takes 1 to 2 days. The fitting date is agreed in writing when you accept. If you have a deadline, tell us at the start.
What happens between the survey and the fitting?
After the survey you receive the written quote. When you accept it, the windows are made to your measurements and the fitting date is agreed in writing.
Does the choice of glass or colour change the timing?
It can. Special colours and less common glass, such as some solar control glass, can take longer to make. If you have a deadline, tell us before you accept.
When is a good time of year to do the work?
October to May is usually easiest. In July and August blocks are full and some communities of owners do not allow works. For a holiday let, the end of the season works well.
Will a window be left open overnight?
No. Windows are replaced one opening at a time, and each one is finished before the next is opened. If one cannot be finished, it is closed off temporarily before the end of the day.
Do uPVC windows turn yellow in the Spanish sun?
Low-quality uPVC can. Kömmerling profiles contain calcium-zinc stabilisers and UV protection, so they keep their colour. For dark finishes on very exposed seafront façades, we may suggest an aluminium-clad option.
Will the salt air damage my windows?
uPVC does not corrode, but hinges, screws and locking points can. On the seafront we fit hardware with anti-corrosion treatment. Rinsing the hardware with fresh water two or three times a year also helps.
Is triple glazing worth it here?
Usually not. Frost is rare on this coast, so the gain over good double low-E glazing is small. The money does more in solar control glass, an insulated shutter box and a well-sealed fitting.
I find mould every time I come back. Is it the windows?
Often it is a mix of a closed-up home and poor ventilation, not only the windows. Our guide on mould in a holiday home explains the causes and what to do before you leave.
Are you a new company?
No. Our founder, Eduardo, has over 30 years in the trade, and the Tu Ventana brand dates from 2018. The company, TU VENTANA MADRID SL, was incorporated in 2021; the Benidorm office opened in 2026.
Is the Benidorm office a franchise?

What guarantees do I get?
The whole job is covered by the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish consumer law. Kömmerling guarantees the profile for 10 years. The glass and hardware makers set their own terms.
